Someone offered to pay me to do something that I would only do because I love someone. That was the seedbed for this piece of music that tried hard to be a vocal solo. I liked playing it as a piano solo, and moved on.

This is the first arrangement I created and was so fun for me. I was able to play it at my sister-in-law’s funeral as well as my mother-in-law’s funeral a few months later. It has continued to be one of my favorite pieces.
This song evolved as our grandchildren started coming. They somehow seemed to love dancing while I played the piano.
